Subaru Australia has announced the new entry-level Impreza will offer more value than ever before, with a new service pricing structure that is sure to sway a lot or buyers towards the Japanese manufacturer.
With a new starting price of just $22,400 (MRLP* 2.0i Sedan), the All-Wheel Drive Impreza is incredibly good value for money, especially when you consider its closest competition is mostly led by front-wheel drive vehicles.
For that $22,400 (MRLP*), you get a lot in the 2.0i Sedan (hatch is $22,600 MRLP*). The engine output has increased, with the 2.0L Boxer now outputting 115Kw at 6000rpm and 196Nm at 4000rpm. You also get Subaru’s signature CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) to complement the engine.
Also standard is Apple Carplay™ and Google Android Auto™, 17″ Alloy Wheels, touchscreen infotainment system as well as being built on Subaru’s all new Subaru Global Platform.
Subaru Australia Managing Director, Colin Christie, said: “With 95% of Impreza being all new, it’s given us the opportunity to look at new service offerings that represent real savings for owners.”
The Subaru Capped Price Service structure has been remodeled as well. Instead of the old 12,500km/6 month intervals, Subaru now has 12,500km/12 month intervals. And the cost has dropped too. The first three years of servicing will now cost you only $1298.19 – a saving of $918.86 over the previous plan.
Mr Christie continued, “The pricing advantage becomes even more significant in upper spec Impreza’s, with new features such as EyeSight driver assist and Vision Assist technology making our small car big on value.”
