It seems to be world Pick-Up week, with Nissan announcing the Series II range of its popular Navara Pick-Up.
Available from late November, the Series II features upgrades to the previous series, as well as the introduction of a new grade, the “SL”. Whilst it may not be a Mercedes-Benz, it does come with some pretty good gear as standard.
The new 4×4 features Nissan’s 2.3 Litre Twin-Turbo Diesel engine, the Navara pumps out 140Kw and 450Nm of torque. You get a reversing camera as standard, as well as full smart phone integration. Available as a 7-Speed Automatic or 6-Speed manual, the latter has a claimed 6.5L/100km fuel cycle.
It rides on 16 x 7 inch steel wheels and 255/70R16 tyres and features a durable vinyl floor interior. The “SL” 4×4 Dual-Cab Manual starts from $43,990 (MRLP*).
The popular “ST” now features Satellite Navigation as standard. The range topping “ST-X” now offers a Sunroof as an optional extra.
